USF Health Simulation Center in Florida, USA

The USF Health Simulation Center at Tampa General Hospital has been the first reference center for VirtaMed. Since spring 2009 the range of training simulators also includes the photorealistic HystSim.

The USF can now provide surgeons with a standardized and efficient curriculum for minimal-invasive surgery. Surgical simulators are superior to traditional training methods and eliminate the need for the messy handling of leaking animal cadavers ("dry wet lab").
